OUCH!
by Eagy Family on Jul.29, 2008, under Family
Gabe and Abigail had their wellness check ups today with the pediatrician. That also meant…shots. We decided not to tell Gabe until this morning so he didn’t have to worry longer than necessary. But he ended up being a brave trooper!!
He didn’t cry at all during the exam, and I gave him some sour candy (he loves it!) right before the shot. It startled him when he was poked and he shouted “OUCH!” and then he was done! No crying at all. What a big boy! Abigail on the other hand…all the doctor had to do was look at her and there were tears. She’s not a fan yet of our wonderful doctor!
Gabe’s stats: 31 pounds - 70th percentile and 30th percentile for height. Dr. said he’s a very muscular guy for being 2 1/2

Abigail’s stats: 21 pounds, 4 ounces - 25th percentile and 75th percentile for height

July!
by Eagy Family on Jul.28, 2008, under Family
It seems like we’ve had a busy month! I didn’t even take very many photos this month (that’s OK, since I usually average a couple hundred per month!). Here’s what we’ve been up to…
- Splashing around at the fountain during Alive After Five
- Celebrating the 4th of July with a BBQ, fireworks and whole family sleepover at my parent’s house
- Hitting the water (again) at Settler’s Park
- Planning and attending my 10 year high school reunion (hi, everyone! It was fun!)
- Hannah and Gabe attended Vacation Bible School through our church - and LOVED every minute!
- Playing outside in the cool mornings and playing outside in the HOT afternoons - usually involving hoses and the swimming pool
- Being together and laughing a lot
Little Baby Eagy is doing great! We were able to hear the heartbeat last week. The first time is always so incredible to hear another heart beating apart from my own. We’re so blessed to be expecting another child to love and enjoy!
Here’s a slide show of some fun things we did this month. Hope you’re all enjoying the summer! Blessings, the Eagys
