Ryan and I have been busy planting and pruning our garden! We planted the last weekend in May. We have…
8 strawberry plants
Cilantro
Basil
Jalapeno
5 tomato plants (two are grape tomatoes)
Green beans
Sweet peas
Snap peas
Spinach (which we already enjoyed and then went to seed!)
Salad bowl lettuce
9 zucchini plants (somebody save me, we’re drowning in zucchini!)
18 cucumber plants - same situation here, come get some!
2 pumpkin plants
3 watermelon plants - which are producing like crazy! We’ll have tons once they’re ready!
and 50 feet by 8 feet of corn that is growing taller every day
It’s tons of work but really fun to bring in all the fresh veggies and fruits! Here are some pictures from about a month ago. The plants have totally taken off since these photos, but you get the idea! We’re getting about 12 zucchini a day and 14 cucumbers a day right now. There’s no way we’re eating all of it so come take some…please!!
